Day 1: Welcome To Charleston

Today Includes:

CHECK-IN

Your home away from home awaits! By Charleston standards, the iconic eight-story Dewberry Hotel towers over Marion Square with 200 west-facing windows. Its cool, lime-washed facade gives way to a sleek, marble-slabbed lobby flanked by warm wooden walls and accented with mid-century modern furniture.

RISE AND SHINE!

Start the day at the charming Babas on Cannon. Inspired by European cafes and bars, this spot feels like a slice of Europe with its painted cafe tables and menu on the front windows. Bright and lively, the sound of foaming milk blends with cocktail shakers throughout the day. Squint and you might think you’re in Paris, but step outside, and the humidity brings you back to South Carolina.

EXPLORE CHARLESTON

Ready to see the sights? One of our favorite ways to explore Charleston is to set out on foot and get lost among the charming cobblestone streets. Walks of Charleston Owner Richard Knoth was born and raised in downtown Charleston and has been a licensed tour guide for more than 25 years! Join his team and soak up the history of the Holy City while strolling past antebellum mansions and window boxes boasting their best blooms.

TIME FOR A NIGHTCAP

End your day back at The Dewberry’s Citrus Club. The crown jewel in a city known for its steepled skyline and sea-skimming views, The Dewberry’s 8th-floor terrace features the highest rooftop in Charleston. Home to our whimsical rooftop cocktail bar, Citrus Club, features citrus-inspired cocktails, and fresh light bites.

Day 2: The Full Charleston

Today Includes:

FUEL FOR THE DAY

Start your day with breakfast at The Dewberry’s The Living Room. The perfect spot for your morning coffee – every detail, right down to the wooden bowls was hand-crafted by local artist Hugh Jeffers from the knots of a 150-year-old white oak tree that once stood nearby.

STROLL DOWN KING STREET

No getaway would be complete without popping into Charleston’s beautiful boutiques on iconic King Street! Add Croghan’s, Hampden, Candlefish, IBU, Shoes on King, LAKE (and so many more) to your Charleston bucket list and you’re sure to be wishing you saved much more room in your suitcase.

BEACH TIME

Sullivan’s Island’s white sand beaches are just a short drive from the hotel. Be sure to book one of the hotel’s beach packages (complete with beach towels & totes) and enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun in comfort and luxury.

DINNER FOR TWO AT THE OBSTINATE DAUGHTER

A trip to Sullivan’s Island isn’t complete without a stop at seafood-driven The Obstinate Daughter (sister restaurant to Wild Olive). The sea breeze takes you up to the second floor, where it feels beachy yet sophisticated. Bleached wood and pale blue seating are a calm backdrop for a bustling operation: bringing out trays from the raw bar, pizza from the wood-fired oven, and pasta and seafood dishes, too.

Day 3: Making Memories

Today Includes:

RETREAT AND RELAX

Rejuvenate your body and soul at The Dewberry Spa. Owner John Dewberry’s Charleston carriage house inspired the serene design. Cypress-covered walls and quiet luxury define the space, offering a deeply restorative experience through signature treatments curated by spa expert Lydia Mondavi. The spa features Natura Bissé products, known for innovative skincare and beauty experiences.

PEER INTO AN ANTEBELLUM MANSION

Charleston is home to an eye-popping array of historic mansions. Although most are privately owned, the Nathaniel Russell House, which was built in 1808 and is widely recognized as one of America’s more important neoclassical dwellings, has been converted into a public museum.

SIP AND SAVOUR

Lunchtime! Stop for a plate of divine pasta (and a glass of wine or TWO!) at Le Farfalle. Tucked just a block off King Street, it’s bright and airy with high-topped “café style” wicker chairs.

WedLuxe Insider Tip: Standouts include the Fideos with toasted angel hair pasta and local crab, a very filling Warm Rosemary Focaccia served with whipped ricotta.

SET SAIL

Set sail aboard the Schooner Pride and keep your eyes open for flippered friends in the peaceful waters of Charleston Harbor during a sunset sail. We can think of no better way to mark the end of your getaway and time in Charleston.
