what is the exact itinerary for the french riviera experience? when will it be released?
The exact itinerary is still being finalized. We will send you the detailed day-by-day plan a week before the experience commences. One of the reasons we don’t want to finalize the itinerary any earlier is that we are adding in some INCREDIBLE surprises along the way and need a bit of flex behind-the-scenes. 🙂
You can rest assured that our partners on the ground are magic-makers in the south of France.
We’ve already lined-up design-focused exclusive tours and access at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, and two other incredible locations that we can’t wait to share with you! We’ve also got two incredible hands-on culinary experiences booked. The first involves a private cooking class somewhere VERY special, and the second will be a private pastry class with Chef Florent Margaillan, the acclaimed Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat.
what airport should i fly into?
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is located 12 mi away from our hotel, Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel.
What time does the experience start?
The Experience will begin at 7:30pm on October 21st with a welcome cocktail party.
my partner is planning on coming with me and will be staying in the room, but not joining the experience. is this ok?
Yes. But, in the spirit of open communication, you will not see much of your partner if they do choose to travel with you. The group activities will start by 8am daily, and we anticipate our evening dinner experiences will last late into the evenings. If you’ve purchased a single traveler rate, your partner will not be able to join in any of the meals, experiences, or utilize the group transportation.
who will be in the group?
We anticipate a minimum of eight travelers and a maximum of twenty. We don’t know who our fellow travelers are yet, but can’t wait to meet each and every one of you. 🙂
We’ll send out a group introductory email before we arrive, so that you can learn a bit more about your fellow guests.
who are the trips designed for?
These trips are truly designed for any artistically-minded event professional who is craving some serious visual and experiential inspo! Event designers, stationers, planners, photographers, florists, cake designers, caterers, fashion designers, etc. We have something for everyone on these trips!
Can I pay for the Experiences/tours component separately and stay a different hotel?
No, the rates are inclusive of accommodation at Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel.
can i pay in installments?
Payment is due in full to secure your spot. We are unable to accept installments, but we do accept Visa, Amex, and MasterCard. We can offer you the option to split your payment onto multiple credit cards, if that’s helpful. If you’d like to pay with multiple cards, please email us.
i have food or dietary restrictions. will i be accommodated?
Yes. We’ll send a dietary preferences sheet in advance of departure to ensure we understand your needs. Please note: All dietary restrictions must be made in advance of departure.
will someone pick me up at the airport?
Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the cost of your experience because we anticipate guests will arrive and depart on different dates or may choose to fly in to various airports etc. However, transfers can be arranged via our travel partners,The Travel Siblings. for an additional fee. will my company and i be included on any coverage of this event on wedluxe.com, or @wedluxe?
Absolutely! All guests will be given the option as to whether or not they wish to be included in the guaranteed media coverage of this trip on WedLuxe platforms. If you opt “yes” your company or personal account will be tagged/shown in the social media coverage on @WedLuxe and at WedLuxe.com.
what room category are the accommodations? can i guarantee a certain kind of room (ie suite, veranda, view, etc?)
Our group room category is “Run of House” which means specific room categories cannot be guaranteed until arrival. If you’d prefer to upgrade to ensure a specific category, such as ‘view’ or ‘terrace’ or ‘suite’ etc. a surcharge will apply. We are happy to accommodate this request, just send us an email after you confirm your booking, and our travel partner, The Travel Siblings. can assist. i want to share a room and pay the double occupancy rate, but don’t have a travel buddy. can you partner me with someone?
Unfortunately, for liability and insurance reasons, we cannot pair travelers who don’t know each other.
